Moving from Washington DC to Vietnam in 2002, Mr. Nguyen had extensive project experience in Vietnam. He has worked on various projects in Vietnam for various clients such as Electricity of Vietnam, British Petroleum, Bao Minh Insurance, Saigon Co-op, and S-fone/S-telecom. In the past he has worked with government agencies, utilities and various multi-national companies focusing on IT Infrastructure Development and Management. His areas of expertise include IT system and vendor selection and management, IT Project Management, IT Implementation Planning and QA, Enterprise Resource Planning, Enterprise Application Integration Services, IT/Business Strategy, Disaster Recovery Planning, and IT Operations Management and Policies. Before settling in Vietnam, he has worked in the US, UK, Cambodia, Korea, Germany, France, Canada.
Before founding VinaConsulting to provide consultancy services to local enterprise in 2006, Mr. Nguyen was the Team Leader on an on going project in Vietnam and a technical expert on another project in Indonesia. The first was an ERP implementation project for Electricity of Vietnam where he assisted in project bidding and procurement, contract negotiations and contract management, risk management and organizational change management. The second project funded by the World Bank for the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia to implement an Integrated Financial Management Information System to support the Department of Treasury and its over 150 organizations throughout Indonesia .
Mr. Nguyen holds a BS degree in electrical engineering from UC San Diego and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University in United States.

IT Strategy and ERP (Solomon) Implementation for the Largest Confectionary Foods Manufacturer in Vietnam.
Technical leader for the SAP implementation at 7 General Motors' sites in Europe.
Applications Integration leader for the Oracle/Maximo implementation for POSCO of Korea.Quang was a founding member of Collaborex, Inc., a Virginia, US-based internet start up specializing in B2B Integration and ASP consulting. In his capacity as the Director of Technical Infrastructure and Architecture, Quang was responsible for growing the company's technical resources for both the Virginia head office and worldwide offices. Quang held senior management positions at IBM, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, PA Consulting.
